About Garrett
I am a husband and a father of 2 awesome boys. I have studied Spanish in Guatemala and Argentina as well as here in the US. I am a graduate of William Jessup University and am currently in a Master's program for World Languages. I have taught in public and private school settings for the last 4 years, with great success! I genuinely enjoy teaching Spanish and look forward to working with you, and building your confidence to speak the language!

By the time you are done with my lessons, you can expect to have at least an intermediate level of Spanish speaking proficiency. I will engage with you in fun ways and will teach you how to create your very own sentences and paragraphs. I will have you speak the language, not just memorize a ton of vocabulary. My lessons are typically targeted from absolute beginner--to intermediate levels.

I was a student of Garrett’s for three years, he is beyond knowledgeable with Spanish and an amazing communicator. With his teaching, I was able to get a jumpstart on my path towards fluency and find myself ahead of fellow classmates. He is understanding and always willing to carve out extra time for any student that is struggling and needs more assistance.
I have known Garrett for 2 years. He is my favorite teacher ever. He has taught me to truly love Spanish. He is trustworthy with the schedule he gives us for the week. In addition, he is not afraid to admit if there was an error on his part (even though that rarely happened). I could trust Garrett to make the class fun and different everyday.
