About Gia
Hi, my name is Gia. I’m passionate about learning, communication, and helping others grow in confidence. I came to the United States from Liberia as a refugee and have spent the past 25 years building my life here, which has given me a deep appreciation for education, resilience, and personal growth.
I’m currently in school pursuing studies in cybersecurity and IT, and I enjoy expanding my knowledge while helping others develop their own skills. In my free time, I’m also a singer and songwriter. Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up singing in choir and love creative expression.
I enjoy working with students and creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and building confidence in their abilities. Whether it’s improving English, strengthening writing skills, or simply helping someone express themselves more clearly, my goal is to make learning encouraging, practical, and empowering.

I came to the United States as a refugee from Liberia and have spent the past 25 years building my life here, which has given me a deep appreciation for language, communication, and perseverance.
I am currently in school pursuing cybersecurity and IT, so I understand the importance of education, discipline, and continuous learning. Alongside academics, I’m also a singer and songwriter who grew up in choir, and I love helping people build confidence in their voice, whether that’s through speaking, writing, or creative expression.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and growing in their skills. I believe everyone can succeed with the right encouragement, guidance, and confidence.
