I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and spent five years in the classroom before becoming a freelance writer. I have done private tutoring for both children and adults and enjoy the one-on-one tutoring experience. I have some experience in teaching children with learning disabilities.

Once I have assessed the student's learning process my lessons are created to make learning interesting and productive. If a student is a visual learner we build vocabulary with pictures and objects. I search for techniques and methods that will work for each specific student and don't give up until I find what works. The methods I use work particularly well with elementary students.
