About Zayn
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 7 years of professional experience, having successfully taught around 300 students. My learners include teenagers, college students, and adults pursuing personal growth, performance skills, or exam preparation.
My teaching philosophy focuses on combining technical foundations with musical expression. I emphasise posture, hand coordination, finger independence, scales, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. I also help students interpret music and connect emotionally with their pieces.
Lessons are structured to balance technical exercises, repertoire, and theory. Beginners develop confidence through foundational exercises and simple pieces, while advanced students refine performance skills and explore complex compositions. Many students have achieved excellent results in graded examinations and performed confidently in recitals.
My mission is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and independent pianists who enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching methodology for piano is centred on student growth and personalised support. I begin by assessing each learner’s strengths and learning style, then tailor lessons to meet their needs. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as scales, arpeggios, posture, rhythm accuracy, and expressive playing.
Flexibility ensures that lessons are adjusted according to progress and comfort level. Collaboration plays a key role, as students help set goals and select music that keeps them inspired.
Positivity is always present in my classroom, encouraging confidence and resilience. Besides piano instruction, I teach music theory, sight-reading, keyboard skills, and beginner harmony to strengthen overall musicianship.
