About Ameera
Hi, I'm Ameera, a Maths graduate and experienced educator with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their potential. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take a patient and supportive approach, adapting lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students of varying abilities and backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges and develop a more positive attitude towards learning. I enjoy finding creative ways to explain difficult concepts and making maths feel more accessible and less intimidating.
Outside of tutoring, I am interested in education, nutrition, and creating engaging learning resources. I believe that with the right support, encouragement, and strategies, every student can make meaningful progress and achieve success.

I am an experienced Maths tutor with a strong academic background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed at GCSE level. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, catch up on missed topics, move up a grade boundary, or achieve top grades.
I believe that every student can make progress in maths when concepts are explained clearly and in a way that suits their learning style. I break complex topics into manageable steps and use visual explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions, revision resources, quizzes, and targeted practice to strengthen understanding.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and focus on both mathematical understanding and exam technique. Students are encouraged to ask questions, identify areas of difficulty, and develop the confidence to tackle problems independently.
I have experience supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and learning styles, including students who have previously struggled with maths or lacked confidence in the subject. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build skills, improve grades, and feel more positive about mathematics.
