About Jiya
With over 3 years of experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics, I bring both depth and creativity to math education. My teaching goes beyond standard problem-solving—it's about understanding patterns, complexity, and the hidden structures within mathematics. I specialize in integrating chaos theory and fractal geometry to help students grasp how math connects to the natural world and complex systems. Through iterated functions, strange attractors, and self-similarity, I introduce students to fascinating mathematical behavior using visual examples and computer simulations. This approach makes abstract ideas more tangible and engaging. I believe in learning by seeing, exploring, and questioning. My sessions are interactive and rich in insight, often drawing connections between mathematics, physics, biology, and even art. I’ve worked with curious learners from all backgrounds—those seeking clarity in coursework and others diving deep into interdisciplinary science. I guide students in thinking critically and creatively. Whether you're preparing for exams or exploring the beauty of nonlinear systems, my goal is to inspire and empower. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation and a wide perspective. You’ll become a confident and well-rounded mathematician with an appreciation for complexity and elegance.

My teaching approach in Maths is focused, strategic, and tailored to each student's needs. I work with school and university students, guiding them through core topics like algebra, calculus, and statistics, while also preparing them for competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I design custom study plans based on the student’s strengths and weaknesses.
For test preparation, I emphasize time-bound problem-solving to build speed and accuracy. We practice with real test formats, targeted drills, and full-length mock tests to reduce surprises on exam day. I help students recognize common traps in questions and teach them how to avoid careless mistakes.
I also spend time explaining the logic behind each concept using simple language and real-world examples. As a math historian and teacher, I bring clarity and context to every lesson, which helps in deeper understanding. My sessions are structured, interactive, and paced to match the student's learning speed.
I support students in building solid strategies for high-scoring performances. Confidence building is a key part of our preparation. We review progress regularly and adjust the plan as needed. My goal is to prepare you thoroughly—not just to pass, but to excel.
