About Thomas
Hi, I'm Thomas, a CPA and Senior Financial Analyst based in Toronto.
I currently work in the real estate investment industry, where I manage financial reporting, budgeting, audit support, and financial analysis for $5B+ investment portfolios.
Prior to my current role, I worked at a Big 4 accounting firm as an auditor, specializing in wealth management and investment funds. I served clients ranging from mutual funds and hedge funds to global asset managers with $100B+ AUM.
I have 10+ years of tutoring experience and 5+ years of experience as an accounting/finance tutor. I’ve worked with 50+ students, focusing on improving their academic performance (went up by 20% or 0.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale on average)
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through baseball, soccer, golf, and fitness. I believe learning should be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and pace.
