About Nancy
Clarity remains the primary pillar of my teaching philosophy. 446 students have used my diagnostic level test to identify their exact needs before starting our sessions. We begin by assessing your baseline skills in listening comprehension and writing to ensure no time is wasted. This diagnostic step is vital for university applicants and business travelers aiming for specific outcomes.
My lessons incorporate CELTA methodologies to ensure academic rigor and practical application. We might spend time on interview preparation or refining your pronunciation through targeted drills.
It is common for us to pause and dissect a tricky phrasal verb if it appears in our reading. I find that breaking down complex grammar rules into smaller pieces makes them much easier to digest. My approach is to keep the conversation flowing while we address your technical questions. You will find that these sessions adapt to your pace as we work through the material together.

Growing up in Quebec City provided the crisp sound of French vowels and the steady rhythm of English sentences that define my early years. My path included earning a Licence from Laval and a CELTA, which grounded my ability to teach English to newcomers and immigrants.
I spent years working in English, which allows me to share authentic insights with university applicants, business travellers, and adult learners who want to master academic writing or everyday conversation. My 7 years of experience in the LINC sector means I understand the pressure of adapting to a new linguistic environment. Whether we are tackling phrasal verbs, exam speaking practice, or accent softening, I strive to make the process feel natural.
