I have a lot of excitement and passion for music, specifically for free flow expression through songwriting on the piano and voice. I wish to share this excitement with my students and help you discover your individual spark and creative expression.

My experience comes from mainly Jazz Piano, Songwriting and Classical Piano. I am proficient in Music Theory so am I able to teach this alongside. As mentioned above, I'm also a Songwriter so can help you find your unique, individual voice , whether that be through simply the piano, or piano and singing.
With my confident approach to teaching, I can help you progress efficiently, embedding practical techniques as well as securing understanding of complex harmony and varieties of scales. I tend to create my lessons around your preferences, to boost potentiality, whether that be in a particular genre of music, through improvisation or doing graded syllabuses.
I bring a playful, charismatic and silly attitude to life, so excel in teaching children and adults alike; by being understanding, empathetic and a good listener. I can also provide alternative tools to progress such as Eastern techniques including ‘flow state’ in meditation, helping you to be calm and confident when performing.
