About Chloe
I am a second year scholarship violinist at RWCMD studying with leader of WNO, David Adams. I began my musical studies at the age of 6, and later spent four years studying at a specialist music school. During my time there I mentored younger musicians in a string orchestra every Saturday. I also developed musical tastes and experiences that stretch far and wide; including string, choral, folk, jazz and early music. I'm a well-travelled performer, having played in Ireland, USA, Norway and self-funded a trip to teach students at Ballanta Music Academy in Sierra Leone. Since arriving at RWCMD my string quartet were awarded the Cardiff violins award and we were accepted onto the Oslo Young Quartet Seminar where world class musicians take masterclasses and coach emerging ensembles.

I am happy to teach all levels of musicians, from beginners to advanced. We can work through exam grades together, or simply work from piece to piece if that is more your cup of tea. Technique is important, but every individual is different. Therefore the way I incorporate it will differ from student to student. Always keeping in mind that the learning process should be fun!
