About Georgia
Hi! My name is Georgia and I am a Mathematics and Statistics student at Concordia University with experience teaching and working in customer-focused environments. I am patient, organized, and understanding, and I know that every student learns differently. As someone who has completed advanced math courses myself, I understand how stressful and overwhelming math can sometimes feel.
My goal is to help students feel more confident by creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where they can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. I am especially strong in study methods and exam preparation, and I enjoy helping students improve both their grades and their problem-solving skills.

I offer tutoring for elementary school, high school, and CEGEP mathematics. Lessons are personalized based on each student’s level, needs, and goals, whether that means catching up in class, preparing for exams, completing homework, or strengthening overall understanding.
During lessons, I focus on explaining concepts clearly through step-by-step examples and guided practice. I also help students develop effective study habits and exam strategies to make math feel more manageable and less stressful. Additional personalized material such as practice exams, summaries, and study guides can also be prepared for students who would like extra support outside of lessons.

Depending on the level, the rate may increase. I start at $35 per hour, and for higher-level courses such as CEGEP mathematics, rates can go up to $45 per hour
I can also prepare personalized practice exams, summaries, and study guides for an additional fee to help students prepare efficiently for quizzes and final exams.
