About Jesse
I am a learner and love to try things that I'm not yet comfortable doing. Music rewards this vulnerability and has helped me navigate a lot in my life.
I've made a career in education, and am always fascinated by the different ways each person absorbs what's most interesting to them. I hope that I am able to help with what's interesting to you, and can create a space for you to be vulnerable and excited to learn the beauty of the piano.

I have 20 years in music training and 10 years as an experience as an educator myself. My philosophy for education is open, and depends on the desires and interests of the student.
I specialize in introducing people of all ages to the piano and music theory, but have experience in a variety of levels.
My number one goal as a music teacher is to help my student learn what's on their mind today, while preparing them to learn what may be on their mind in the future. I let the student guide the balance between musical creativity and the structure of music theory.
