About Olivia
I am a state certified music teacher with 10+ years in performance, as well as 6+ years in music instruction. I have planned and taught elementary to high school students through organizing a variety of productions such as school musicals and concerts. I have taught all grade levels and am best teaching those who are in the beginner and intermediate stages. I bring passion and expertise to the classroom so that you can learn the amazing discipline that music offers.

All students are individuals, and everyone learns in their own unique way. I use multiple methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to reach students, so that no one is left behind. I play alongside the pianist over webcam to give examples and demonstrate thoroughly. I provide feedback to each pianist based on what their goals are. You can expect to spend a month working on 2-3 pieces for beginners, and then increase consistency once an improvement of sight-reading and technique has occurred.
