About Andrei
Who I Am & Why I Teach I am a concert pianist and experienced teacher with over 20 years of performing and teaching experience. I hold a BMus and Master’s degree from Kharkiv University of Arts and have performed across Europe, guiding students to success in exams, competitions, and concerts. I teach because I am passionate about helping students discover their musical potential. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, I tailor lessons to your goals, making learning engaging, structured, and rewarding. My aim is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music in every student.

My Teaching Approach I tailor my piano and music theory lessons to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and experience level. My teaching methodology combines technical development, musical expression, and structured learning, ensuring that students build a solid foundation while enjoying the learning process. Lessons typically last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and level. For younger beginners, I incorporate play-based learning, games, and storytelling to keep lessons engaging. For older students and adults, I focus on technique, repertoire building, music theory, and performance skills. With 20 years of experience as a concert pianist and a Master’s degree from Kharkiv University of Arts, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for exams and competitions. I welcome students of all levels—whether you’re just starting, preparing for GCSE/A-level music exams, ABRSM grades, or looking to refine your technique. My goal is to create a supportive, inspiring learning environment where students gain confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy making music.
