About Haike
Hi! I am a 33-year-old pianist from Munich who is studying for a diploma under Håvard Gimse at NMH. I am still learning Norwegian, so until now I can offer teaching in English and German (and a bit of Spanish). Before becoming a professional musician I studied and did a PhD in Neurobiology but eventually decided that music is most important to me and that I do not want to keep it only as a hobby. Therefore I decided in 2016 to go to university again and studied Piano as well as pedagogy in Munich. Ever since I also taught piano to students of all ages and all levels, from total beginner (without any music knowledge at all) to adolescents, who I prepared for the entrance audition at the music university. I also worked as an accompanist with singers and other instruments. Because of Corona, many of the music lessons are now online, which requires more careful preparation depending on the student. But I will leave it up to you whether you want to meet in person, eg if you have your own piano at home, or online, or both. :-)

My method of teaching is based on several years of experience with the most different students, but also on very structured methods that I learned during my theoretical and practical pedagogical education. It is most important to work on all different aspects of music in parallel, ranging from simple technical issues to musical interpretation and theoretical backgrounds, so your lessons will never be one-dimensional. In addition, it is the most important thing for me to focus on the personality of the student and his individual strengths and to always try to create an inspiring and positive atmosphere in all my lessons. I work very detailed and focused but the joy of playing the piano always has the highest priority for me and to share my motivation for what I believe is the most wonderful thing. The first lesson is always free of charge, so you can then decide afterwards if you want to proceed to have me as a teacher or not.

En utrolig talentfull pianist som virkelig bryr seg om sine elever!
Det jeg kanskje liker best med timene med Haike er hvor flink hun er til å tilpasse innholdet i timene og materialet på farten. Hver time er en dialog hvor vi sammen finner ut av hva vi kan jobbe videre med. Forvent å bli gitt spennende utfordringer på dine sterke områder, og øvelser for å styrke områder du kan forbedre. Haike ist eine phantastische Musikerin, sehr engagierte Lehrerin und hat eine sehr feine Persöhnlichkeit.
Nach lange Pause wollte ich wieder Klavierspielen lernen und Haike hat mir dabei sehr viel geholfen und mich mit ihre Musikalität ganze Zeit motiviert.
