A basic question from electrical DC machine can be asked that in armature, generated emf nature is AC or DC, so it's answer is AC, because rotor rotate in magnetic flux and due to this rotation there is cyclic change flux which according to Faraday's law generat AC shape emf
Like wise another question related to charge may be asked that electrical field lines make closed loop like magnetic lines or not, So they don't complete circle coz it start from + ve charge to -ve charge
