About Anna
I am currently in my first year of computer science at McGill University.
I have 4 years of experience assistant teaching for an after-school math program for advanced students, as well as experience tutoring high school level math (mainly grades 11 and 12 but also some 9 and 10).
I have all A's in my first-semester university math classes and I had 100, 99, and 99 in the three senior academic math classes I took in high school (Functions, Advanced Functions and Calculus). I have tutored students in all three.

I tutor math at any school grade level, including high school functions and calculus. I offer online and in-person tutoring sessions, from 1 to 4 hours in length.
I will explain tricky concepts, teach material ahead of time, and help students study and prepare for tests or exams. Everything will be very personalized to the student's learning style, grade, and unique needs.
I believe in asking my students questions to help them understand the idea, rather than giving away every answer to questions they find hard. I also allow my students to check their understanding of a certain concept, by having them solve a problem or two independently to build confidence and spot areas of hesitance or misunderstanding.
