About Miriam
Hi, I’m a Computer Science graduate with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed. I specialize in high school math and focus on creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their understanding at their own pace. My teaching is grounded in empathy and clarity. I take time to understand how each student learns best and adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs. I focus on making maths clear, engaging, and relevant for students. I believe that understanding how a student thinks is just as important as knowing the subject, so I tailor each session to fit individual learning styles. My approach is calm, supportive, and flexible — I aim to build confidence, not just skills.
In my lessons, I use real-life examples and visual explanations to break down complex concepts. I encourage questions, guide problem-solving, and make sure students truly understand the why behind each step.
