About Yafus
I've spent a good chunk of my career diving into the engineering world, especially at Maya Heat Transfer Technologies. There, I climbed up the ranks to lead the presales team, working on the Siemens Simcenter Simulation Portfolio. I also played the strategist, cooking up plans to boost our software growth. Before that, I was the go-to guy for anything related to Computational Fluid Dynamics, even nabbing some new business deals that boosted our sales by a cool 20%.
But it's not all about sales and strategy. I got down and dirty with analysis as a Thermal/CFD Analyst, managing a ton of projects across a variety of industries. When it comes to the books, I wrapped up my Master of Engineering from McGill University, diving into some aerodynamic action with wing configurations.
Beyond the office, I’m no stranger to coding, being pals with languages like Matlab, C++, and Python, and dancing around with different software tools. But it's not all code and calculations; I'm also an avid adventurer, with a love for rock climbing, snowboarding, and even Latin dancing. Plus, I can swap my calculator for a scuba tank as a certified Advanced Open Water Diver. With a mix of tech-savvy, leadership chops, and a knack for never stopping learning, I'm all about tackling new challenges, whether they're in the office or out in the wild.
