About Miles

I had been tutoring throughout my time as a student at the University of St. Thomas, a private Catholic university in St. Paul, Minnesota. During that time, I would mainly offer support to students writing essays on a variety of business and political subjects. Since graduating, I have also been able to work with professionals and graduate students with advanced, often technical pieces.

About the lesson

I understand that different methods work better for different students. What I like to do is ask students or clients what methodology they prefer and mold my help to fit their needs best. One thing I am sure to emphasize with all of them is that there are no stupid questions or concerns - don't be afraid to ask me about anything.

Miles was an excellent mentor for me when I was in Minneapolis. He understood what I was trying to get across with my writing and after we reviewed my work together, he gave me several helpful ideas and suggestions which made a terrific difference.

Miles and I went to the same university but I did not know him personally until I found him on Superprof. I asked him if he could look over a large research paper for me, and I ended up hiring him for several hours. Miles is a very nice, but straightforward and professional tutor who likes to get right to business. His advice on the overall tone and composition of my essay was invaluable and I've made sure he'll be around for my next long-form essay.
