About Mahmood
I am a Commercial Pilot Licence holder with a Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating (CPL/MECIR) and have completed all ATPL (Air Transport Pilot Licence - formerly known as Senior Commercial Pilot Licence) subjects.
I have been working as a private tutor teaching Private and Commercial Pilots the required theory to pass their exams for the last 4 1/2 years.

Most of my teaching is done on a one to one basis, I would take a student through 3 phases.
1-Preliminary stage: where I would either review the students KDR (Knowledge Deficiency Report) which is typically given after the exam attempt. Or in the case of a student who has not attempted the subject before, I would gauge where the student knowledge level at a particular subject.
2-Information stage: after I gauge the student's knowledge, I would teach him/her what he/she needs to learn to reach the required standard as prescribed by Part 61 - Manual Of Standards.
3-Consolidation state: This is where I would supply a lot of practice questions and observe the student until I am satisfied that he/she is competent.
