About Seth
I have given tutoring lessons in chemistry and many types of mathematics for about two years while I have been in college. My informal tutoring experience is much longer than that. Over the course of two years I have taught many students, most of them have stuck with me throughout the entire semester because they needed help each time new information was introduced. Over the course of several semesters, I have helped students improve their grades from failing grades to respectable ones that have actually improved gpa's. Overall, students often see an increase in test scores when studying with me.

I am a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln giving lessons in math, geometry, chemistry, and other general studies to all types of students including junior high, high school, and college students taking general education classes. I prefer to teach by example. First explaining each new concept in several ways so that a student can better understand it, then giving examples or problems incorporating each new concept as we go so that the student can learn each new concept very easily. I give many problems and examples so that the student knows every type of problem that may come their way during a test.
