About Julie
I have a degree in International Journalism, which entails that I've written numerous articles in English, also translated texts and conducted interviews in this language. This motivates me to help students who have problems with the language to understand it better. Furthermore, my results in English have been excellent throughout my entire school career.

My method of teaching consists of using many practical examples (think of: film fragments, texts from books or exercises linked to current events) as this sparks the interest of the student more than an academic text in a workbook would do. I also like to work with 'bridges' to make links between words in Dutch and their translation in English.
