I am a junior finance student at an accredited business program in Connecticut. I’ve always had a passion for not only learning but also teaching various math subjects. I’ve helped students succeed in all math subjects grades K-12 as well as SAT prep.

My teaching method when conquering a new skill is to introduce the skill to the student work through a couple examples then let them try on their own. As needed I will assist them but I find that students learn the most when having the confidence in their abilities and less reliance on the teacher. When a student is having a lot of trouble with a skill, I like to resort to basics and teach from the ground up. The main part about mathematics is that you need to have an understanding of the basics/foundation in order to advance. I never want leave a session with a student feeling uncomfortable or unsure on a skill/new subject
