About Debra
I have taught all levels of English Composition, Reading, and Grammar and professionally written copy for B2B and B2C clients for twenty-five Years. My university classes average 20 students, and I have also tutored students one-on-one on all levels from elementary through college Each step of the reading, writing and research process works together and doesn't change. The steps just get more complex. An elementary student might write a paragraph, while a college student writes a twenty-page research paper. The process is the same.

I teach through example. I have students (or their teachers) tell me what they want to learn, then give example after example to illustrate the concept. Then I have them do the same. If a student doesn't understand one approach, I try a different one. Some are visual learners, while others are auditory. I figure out what kind of learner the student is and teach to his style.
