About Ryan
I am a classically trained pianist. For six years, I have worked as a collaborative pianist at both the high school and college levels, and have more recently taken up teaching class piano at the college level. I have my Bachelor's degree in piano performance, and am currently working on a master's degree in performance as well. I have experience in both collaborative and solo performance, and have taught a wide range of ages, from elementary levels up to adults.

I teach piano with a classical music background. Lessons vary depending on the age and ability of the student. I am able to teach all ages, and can train any ability up to an advanced level. While lessons will focus primarily on pieces chosen by both teacher and student, an emphasis on practical music theory and technique will be included in order to better play the pieces. I can adapt my teaching style to fit your purpose for learning piano, whether it is just for enjoyment, because you would like to pursue music as a career, or anything in between.
