About Csongor
I study at Maynooth University to become a Maths and Computer Science teacher. Before university I spent two years teaching coding at Logiscool, kids from around 8 to 16, mostly Scratch and Python. Currently I teach at secondary schools as part of my course and I volunteer at CoderDojo Mullingar. I'm Garda vetted through the University and CoderDojo as well.

I teach coding and computer science for beginners and improvers. Scratch for younger kids, then Python once they're ready for real code. I can also help Leaving Cert Computer Science students, and college students starting out with Python, Java or SQL. And I'm always happy to help upskill anyone in Terminal, Docker or Git.
I keep it hands-on. We build small actual things instead of just working through theory, because that's what makes it stick and keeps it interesting.
Online or in person around Mullingar, evenings and weekends mostly. First lesson's free, so just message me with the age and where they're starting from. I can take groups up to 4 students as well.

Csongor joined our team at CoderDojo a couple of years ago. He's one of the best Mentors we've ever had; he has a genuinely deep understanding of his subjects and is a natural educator. He puts a lot of work into his lesson plans and it really pays off - his students are always totally engaged in whatever challenge he presents them with. Csongor is also extremely patient so I'm sure anyone working with him on the superprof platform will come away with a much clearer understanding of Algorithms.
How we know each other:I first connected with Csongor when I was looking for a private tutor to help me master my computer skills. Teaching methods I appreciate most:What makes Csongor a truly exceptional tutor is his highly personalized teaching approach. He has a unique talent for breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I particularly appreciate his patience, his focus on practical problem-solving, and the way he constantly adapts his pace to match my learning style. I highly recommend Csongor to anyone wanting to achieve their academic goals.
