About Apryl
I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with Bachelor's degrees in biology and chemistry. Though I did not major or minor in mathematics, I absolutely love math and even took Calculus II as an elective just for fun. (Yes, I AM a nerd). In my spare time I play saxophone, piano and am obsessed with musical theater.

I know that everyone learns differently, so I have a variety of teaching methods to reach my students. If one way does not work, I am happy to re-explain using different visuals, examples or explanations. I have been a private tutor for traditional, online and home school students. That experience has allowed me to encounter not only many different types of students, but also different types of teachers and learning platforms, which has made me grow as an educator.
