About Errolynn
I love learning! And I also love sharing what I learned with others. That is what sets me apart from many tutors. I have a passion for helping students truly understand what they are studying. I’m experienced in and enjoy helping students make sense of material that initially feels confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to organize. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across a range of academic levels and have developed a strong ability to identify learning gaps, explain complex ideas clearly, and adjust my teaching style to fit the individual student.
My goal is to create a supportive, focused learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen weak areas, and build confidence without feeling judged or rushed. I take preparation seriously, communicate clearly, and come to each session ready to make the most of our time together.
I especially enjoy working with students who are preparing for important exams, returning to academic subjects after time away, or trying to earn college credit efficiently through CLEP. I believe strong tutoring should leave you not only better prepared for the test, but also clearer about how to approach challenging material on your own. And I can almost make prep, dare I say, fun!

I specialize in helping CLEP students understand what they need to know, identify the specific areas holding them back, and prepare efficiently for exam day. My approach is highly diagnostic and personalized. Rather than teaching every student the same way, I first determine which concepts, question types, and test-taking habits need the most attention.
A typical lesson may include a focused review of key concepts, guided practice, step-by-step explanation of missed questions, and strategies for recognizing patterns and avoiding common traps. I emphasize understanding rather than memorization, and I break difficult material into clear, manageable steps.
What sets me apart is my ability to quickly pinpoint why a student is struggling and adjust instruction accordingly. I have extensive experience in test preparation and in helping students build both skill and confidence under time pressure.
Lessons are designed for students preparing for CLEP exams including College Algebra, College Composition, College Composition Modular, Literature, Psychology, and History. Whether you are starting from the beginning, refreshing material you have not studied in years, or trying to improve after a previous attempt, lessons will be tailored to your current level and testing goals.
