About Ashley
Soprano Ashley Sallaway is an emerging young artist recognized for her expressive singing and commitment to storytelling through music. A native of Texas, she was a two-time member of the Texas All-State Choir, an experience that inspired her pursuit of a professional career in opera. She is currently an undergraduate at the Manhattan School of Music, where she studies Classical Voice on the prestigious Presidential Scholarship. At MSM, she performs with the Chamber Choir and takes part in a variety of staged and concert projects that broaden her artistry. In the summer of 2025, she will join CLA Berkshires Opera as a Young Artist, furthering her training in operatic repertoire and performance. Ashley is passionate about sharing the vibrancy of classical music with new audiences and is eager to continue developing her craft through young artist programs and professional opportunities.

I prioritize instilling a love of music in my students. Lessons are highly customizable but can include technique work, theory, language coaching, acting, songwriting, and mentorship!
I specialize in teaching students ages 4-18 with any experience level. My students have gone on to receive lead roles in community and school theater, advanced in the All State Choir process, and have won national and state-wide singing competitions!
My classical training at the Manhattan School of Music gives me an impressive technical background, performance experience, and access to millions of resources my students benefit from.
