About Heather
Hello! My name is Heather, and I am a multi-instrumentalist musician, singer-songwriter, and music teacher from Brighton, UK. I've been playing for over twenty years - mostly piano and violin, but I can play a bit of guitar, bass, and harp too!
I have a Bachelors in Music from Durham University, and a wealth of experience in multiple genres: from classical, to pop, orchestral, indie, to experimental.
Ultimately, I am incredible passionate about music and its power to transform people - and love sharing that with others as a music teacher. I offer online lessons in Piano, Keyboard, Music Theory, and Songwriting. If you are local to me in Portslade, Brighton, I can offer these lessons from my home too.

Are you an instrumentalist or songwriter looking to develop keyboard skills to help with music theory knowledge, or composition?
Keyboard skills are incredibly useful for all musicians - but especially if you are looking to write your own music, or want a better understanding of the fundamentals of music.
I have played piano and keys for over twenty years, and played in multiple genres - from classical, to musical theatre, pop, indie, and experimental.
Furthermore, as a singer-songwriter and keys player in a band, I know how to practically apply keyboard skills to composition and performance, so you can write and perform your own songs.
As a teacher I am patient and perceptive, ready to adapt to your goals and create a learning plan that will work for you.
