About Leona
I am a ballet dancer classically trained in the Cecchetti and Vaganova techniques. I have 18 years of experience in performing and 3 years experience in choreography. I have a strong foundation in modern and jazz as well. I was a board member of Ole Miss Student Dance and Mississippi: The Dance Company during my college career. I also had the opportunity to choreograph and set a neo-classical piece in my last show.

I base my teaching approach on my student’s needs. I go through a class with my student and see what our focus area needs to be. My goal is to maintain a positive environment full of encouragement while cultivating excellent technique. I hope to build my students’ mastery of the art form as well as their love for it.
