About Patrick
I have been playing Trombone since 2009 and am currently studying jazz performance at the jazz music institute. My love for music really sprouted in big bands, however I also spent a lot of time studying classical and orchestral music. I completed my 8th grade AMEB in 2018 and received a B+. I have performed in events such as the 2018 and 2019 NSW School's Spectacular as well as in prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House and Town Hall.

My teaching method is adaptive based on the needs and interests of the student. Most of the time, a focus on reading sheet music is required to start off with, however I like to also cover the ability to play by ear. Technique will play an important role in my lessons, teaching the student the proper breath control, slide technique and embouchure so that they can play the instrument comfortably and effectively.

Details
My lessons will be charged at $30 for 30 mins or $55 for one hour. Travel costs are negotiable depending on location but will mostly just cover any fuel/transport costs for me. The student will be given a number of PDF's, listening recommendations and other practise materials included in the price.
