About Emily
Yoga is a beautiful tool for improving wellbeing. I began teaching because I wanted to share this gift with others. I have always been interested in wellbeing and have a PhD in Psychology. I am passionate about creating a real difference in people's lives and believe yoga should be accessible to everyone!
I began practicing yoga 10 years ago, when a friend encouraged me to to go to a class at the university. She was pestering me to go, but I repeatedly told her I was too busy with work ... I think we have all been there! Well she told me that's exactly why I need to go and she was right! I took her advice, went to a class and completely fell in love. I have been practicing ever since :)

I am a qualified vinyasa and yin yoga instructor. Generally, my classes tend to be slow and strong, with a focus on incorporating the breath and mindful awareness. However I adapt classes to meet my students needs, whether it be increasing strength, flexibility, or calm and relaxation. I also offer meditation and yoga nidra sessions. I am currently offering classes online only.
