About Dr Surbhi
I’m Dr. Surabhi Sood.
My journey from dentistry to yoga began over two decades ago, when my heart led me towards a deeper understanding of healing, well-being and the human body. What started as a personal calling gradually became my life’s work.
I am an MSc Yoga Therapy professional, prenatal yoga specialist and mother of two, and I bring together professional knowledge, personal experience and a deep understanding of women’s changing bodies through pregnancy and motherhood.
As the Founder of WombWise Academy, my work is centered around helping women approach pregnancy and birth with greater awareness, confidence and connection. My teaching is evidence-based and scientific, yet deeply heart-centered, blending the wisdom of yoga with modern understanding of anatomy, physiology, breath and the nervous system.
My sessions incorporate prenatal yoga, pelvic mobility, breathwork, relaxation, meditation, birth preparation and Garbha Sanskar, always adapted to the individual woman and her stage of pregnancy.
For me, prenatal yoga is not simply about performing poses. It is about creating a safe space where you can understand your body, listen to your breath, build trust in yourself and prepare mindfully for the journey of birth and motherhood.
Whether you are new to yoga or already have a practice, I would love to support you with warmth, knowledge and genuine care throughout this beautiful chapter of your life.
