About Mazhar
I am a passionate educator, constantly striving to enhance the quality of my teaching. My journey in engineering education began in 2004 when I embarked on a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. This field captivated me, fueling my pursuit of an M.Sc. and later a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona, USA.
Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of instructing a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to Mechanics of Materials, Mechanics of Solids, Statics, Engineering Mechanics, Structural Analysis and Design, Steel Structures, Plain and Reinforced Concrete Structures, and Construction Materials, Advanced Structural Materials, and Bridge Engineering.
Beyond teaching, I actively engage in research focused on structural engineering and construction materials, with numerous publications in prestigious Civil Engineering journals and conferences. Additionally, my professional experience includes the successful completion of numerous projects related to the structural design of buildings, bridges, water tanks, and structural health monitoring systems.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise to help students excel in their engineering studies.

My teaching approach is student-centered, recognizing that each student learns at their own pace and in their own style. I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs and ensure that the material is both accessible and engaging. I strive to make my lectures interactive, keeping students interested and motivated. While a typical lesson lasts 1 hour, I offer flexibility to accommodate different learning preferences.
With over 15 years of teaching, research, and professional experience in both Pakistan and the USA, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to my lessons. Having worked on a variety of engineering projects, I can effectively connect core engineering concepts to real-world applications. My lessons are suitable for students in any branch of engineering at the undergraduate level.
