About Yuri
I have experience as a University lecturer in Peru and Venezuela, working at CIT as a Spanish instructor since 2010 and at the University of new south Wales as Spanish teacher.
I am fluent both in English and Spanish. I have significant experience and outstanding vocation and dedication teaching Spanish to English-speaking students. I am a native Spanish speaker (I am originally from Peru, in South America). I hold a Master's degree at The International University of Valencia Spain with a mention in reaching Spanish as Second Language, I had been teaching Spanish at The UNSW, and at the Canberra Institute of Technology, my Spanish students include among others, a Ph.D. university professor (Historian), Diplomats, a Senior IT professional working in the government, a High School Science teacher, and retired pensioners, prior their lap year trip to South America. My Spanish students had the opportunity to put in practice the Spanish learned with me on their travels to Venezuela Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, and Spain.
I have been trained to teach University students in Peru and Venezuela, having completed the necessary academic preparation to teach in the Universities in Peru and Venezuela, and constantly I have been updating the methodologies, hold a Master's degree at The International University of Valencia Spain with a mention in reaching Spanish as Second Language
I am very interested in providing my professional services by lecturing Spanish to a class of students, making emphasis on the conversational aspects of the learning acquisitions experience and especially I have contacts with Universities in Peru and Venezuela to promote students' international exchange, I have knowledge of programs and team members that are interested in these bilateral students exchange.
