Church Slavonic of the Orthodox Church: Grammar, Reading, and Exegesis (цр҃кѡ́вный словѣ́нскїй ѧ҆зы́къ)

Maxim is an outstanding teacher of Greek. What sets him apart is the way he combines linguistic precision with a real feel for the language as it is used. Lessons with him are structured, lively, and carefully adapted to the student. He is generous with his time, always ready to help, and creates an atmosphere in which it is easy to ask questions and improve. I recommend him warmly to anyone beginning or continuing Greek.

I studied Russian with Maxim and made far more progress than I expected. He explains grammar clearly without making it feel heavy, and he always finds a way to keep the lessons practical. He is patient, encouraging, and genuinely interested in how you learn. If you want a teacher who is both rigorous and easy to work with, I would recommend him without hesitation.
