I'm a Chinese student at the University of Edinburgh, but have spent a year and several summers living in China, studying and volunteering. I'm officially qualified up to HSK 4 level, but having lived in China I have a good understanding of the culture there too.

I like to tailor my classes to what the student wants to learn. I believe that when learning a language, emphasis should be on speaking and using the language, as opposed to rote learning grammar rules. Its easier to remember that way.
