About Yi

I’m a patient tutor from China. I gained my master's degree at UCI. I attended the Mathematical Olympiad several times in China and took two honor classes in math at the University. I treat every student as my friend. My goal is to assist my student in improving their score/GPA and help them pass their tests.
My educational background at UCI has equipped me with a profound understanding of mathematics, and I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge with my students. The rigorous curriculum and exceptional faculty at UCI have shaped me into a dedicated learner and educator. I am well-prepared to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging, ensuring you grasp the subject matter.
During my time as a tutor, I've had the privilege of helping numerous students excel in their math classes. This experience has taught me the importance of personalized guidance. I tailor my teaching approach to the unique learning style of each student, ensuring each one not only comprehends the material but also develops problem-solving skills that will serve everyone well beyond the classroom.
As we embark on this educational journey together, please rest assured that I am dedicated to helping you succeed in your math classes. I'm here to inspire confidence in your mathematical abilities and to reassure you of my unwavering commitment to your progress.
