About Sophie
I started off my TV career by casting short films for independent production companies and then I landed a job with ITV where I spent 8 years casting for the award winning soap, Emmerdale.
During my time there, I auditioned and cast all the children from 2011 - 2019 including Amelia Flanagan who won 'Best Young Performer' at the Soap Awards 2015.
I have been involved in the casting of children in a leading supermarket TV campaign and I have hosted a number of children's workshops for mock TV auditions.
In terms of my own professional experience, I have performed at The National Theatre and had small TV roles in ‘Nolly’, Significant Other’, 'Coronation Street' & 'Daddy Issues'.

My class would be getting to know your child on an individual basis in order to determine their strengths as a young performer.
Each class will be tailored to the needs of each child where they will work by exercising existing TV excerpts from dramas, soaps and kids TV programmes.
I can offer advice on audition technique, acting agencies and work with the child on any forthcoming roles/auditions they may have.
