About Nicolás
My name's Nicolás, a 20-year-old translation student who plays chess in his free time. My granddad taught me how to play when I was about 8, and since then this game has helped me lead a happier life. I want to teach chess because I believe that it's a good way to train your brain, and to prove that activities which don't involve physical work may also be more than enjoyable.

My classes are student oriented. For those who are just learning, we will start from the very beginning (basic concepts and movements of the pieces) and little by little we will introduce theory about openings and endgames. With players who consider themselves intermediates, the idea is to play a game or have them solve a couple of puzzles so that I know where to start.
