About Hannah
I am a chess tutor with over 7 years of experience and a passion for helping learners of all levels. My lessons focus on understanding tactics, openings, and strategic planning through interactive exercises and real-game analysis. I make complex concepts simple and approachable.

I focus on teaching chess in a way that is clear, practical, and engaging. Lessons are hands-on and goal-oriented. We begin with the basics of piece movement, board setup, and opening ideas. Understanding comes first.
Students practice tactics like forks, pins, and combinations. I also teach planning, pawn structures, and how to evaluate positions. Endgames are included because they improve accuracy and calculation.
I guide students in analyzing their own games, spotting mistakes, and making better choices. I work with children, teens, and adult players. The goal is to build confident, thoughtful, and independent chess players.
