About Kira
I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics, and I have 7 years of experience teaching chess to students at different levels. My interest in chess started with a curiosity about strategy and logical thinking, which gradually developed into a strong passion for teaching. Over the years, I have worked with many students, helping them understand the game in a simple and structured way while building their confidence.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and consistency. I believe students learn best when they understand the ideas behind their moves, so I guide them step by step through each concept. I use simple explanations, practical examples, and regular practice to help students improve steadily. I also encourage independent thinking, allowing students to analyze positions and make decisions on their own.
Outside of teaching, I continue studying chess strategies, solving puzzles, and analyzing games to improve my understanding. This helps me bring new ideas into my lessons. Teaching chess is very rewarding because I enjoy helping students develop strong thinking skills and gain confidence in their abilities.

Chess lessons become easier to understand when students learn the reasoning behind each move rather than just memorizing patterns. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals such as piece movement, board awareness, and simple strategies through clear and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can develop confidence in their thinking and decision making. Each lesson includes puzzles, guided games, and analysis that help students improve their understanding gradually. I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and learning from mistakes.
Beginners start with understanding the rules, piece movements, and simple checkmate patterns. Intermediate learners work on tactics, openings, and improving their ability to plan moves. Advanced students focus on deeper strategies, positional play, and analyzing complete games. I adjust lessons based on each student’s level and provide regular feedback to support steady improvement. Practice games and guided corrections help students build confidence and accuracy over time.
Chess helps students develop concentration, patience, and logical thinking skills. As students improve, they become more confident in analyzing situations and making decisions. Many learners also notice improvements in focus and problem-solving skills in other areas of life. My goal is to make chess learning simple, engaging, and rewarding for every student.
