About Ira

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Polymer Chemistry. My passion lies in helping students understand the practical side of chemistry, especially through chromatographic techniques like Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). These powerful tools allow us to analyse and monitor pollutants in the environment with great precision. I enjoy teaching sampling methods, separation principles, and the importance of detection limits in analytical chemistry. Environmental analytical chemistry is close to my heart because it connects science with real-world challenges. I am dedicated to showing how analytical chemistry can solve pressing problems, such as tracking contaminants and safeguarding natural resources.
