About Liyana
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how matter behaves and changes in nature. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Science Fundamentals, and for the past 4 years I have been helping students understand Chemistry through clear and structured teaching.
I believe students learn best when concepts are explained simply and connected to real-life examples. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and step-by-step guidance that builds confidence. I encourage students to ask questions and focus on understanding rather than memorisation.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring chemical research, laboratory techniques, and material science developments. Staying updated helps me bring real-world relevance into my lessons. Helping students feel confident in Chemistry is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to make scientific concepts simple and easy to understand. I teach topics such as atomic structure, periodic table trends, bonding, acids and bases, stoichiometry, and chemical reactions using clear explanations and everyday examples. Instead of memorising reactions, students learn the logic behind chemical changes. Step-by-step problem solving makes learning structured and easy.
Each lesson is adapted based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic concepts and foundational understanding, while intermediate learners improve equation balancing and problem-solving skills. Advanced students work on reaction mechanisms, deeper theory, and structured analytical questions through guided practice. Regular revision helps strengthen understanding.
Chemistry builds observation, reasoning, and analytical thinking. My goal is to help students feel confident in solving problems and understanding chemical behaviour. With patient guidance, Chemistry becomes logical and easier to learn.
