About Jack
I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in political science and economics. I moved to Caifornia in 2005 and have been taking classes and continuing my education ever since. I have tutored math, science, accounting, economics, and taxes for over 5 years. I will be obtaining a mathematics degree at Cal State San Marcos in the fall.
When not tutoring, I play tennis, read, and work out.

Primarily, I stress 2 key concepts: patience and flexibility. I've had students who grasp the concepts right away and some who struggle initially. Flexibility involves teaching the student in the way they understand things, not necessarily in the way I initially learned it. I also try to make every lesson relevant to the student's life so they will be more engaged (example I had a student who wantedto be a cook but was bored by fractions. I suggested it would be hard to cook effectively without being able to measure a 1/3 cup of flour).

I absolutely love working with Jack! He is so helpful and always makes time to see me with my busy schedule. My grade has improved so much with jacks help. He’s a great tutor!
Jack is an amazing calculus and economics professor. He is well-versed and intensive. Jack helped me pass both my econ and calc classes in spring of 2021. We know each other through local connections. I recommend you Jack because he is thorough and dedicated to the understanding of concepts.
Jack is very trustworthy because he is very organized with the schedule and delivered what he said about receiving A+ grade, he is very knowledgeable on the subject and is very patient. Jack always showed up on time for our tutoring sessions and went above and beyond to make sure I understand the material.
