About Jiya
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how different substances react and change in various conditions. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, where I developed a strong understanding of chemical concepts and reactions. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them understand Chemistry through clear explanations and structured lessons that build confidence and strong foundations in the subject.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I simplify complex topics using step-by-step explanations and relatable examples so students can understand easily. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, which helps them build confidence and improve their understanding over time. Creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment is very important to me as it helps students stay motivated and engaged.
I continue to improve my teaching methods and stay updated with developments in Chemistry. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is very rewarding for me. Many learners who initially struggle begin to understand concepts clearly and perform better in exams. Helping them achieve this transformation motivates me to continue teaching with dedication, care, and a strong commitment to student success.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand the reasons behind reactions instead of memorising equations without meaning. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and basic organic chemistry using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably and understand how different ideas are connected. I also use everyday examples such as cooking, cleaning products, and environmental changes to show how Chemistry is present in daily life. This approach helps students stay interested and understand the subject in a practical way.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on basic concepts such as atoms, molecules, and simple reactions to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, bonding, and numerical problems with more detailed explanation. Advanced students focus on complex reactions, deeper understanding, and exam preparation strategies. I include regular practice and revision in every lesson so students can improve their accuracy and understanding. Clear feedback helps students correct mistakes and gain confidence step by step while improving steadily.
As students continue learning, they begin to see Chemistry as a logical and understandable subject instead of something difficult. Many learners develop curiosity as they understand how substances interact and change in different conditions. This growth helps them perform better academically and stay motivated in their studies. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, clear, and engaging while helping students build strong confidence and long-term understanding that supports their academic success.
