About Hazel
My journey in chemistry began with a strong interest in understanding how materials change and react. I completed a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, where I gained deeper knowledge of chemical processes. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them build clarity and confidence. Teaching allows me to simplify complex topics and make learning more accessible.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I believe every student needs a strong foundation, so I focus on basics before moving to advanced topics. I adjust my teaching based on each student’s needs and provide step-by-step explanations. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue reading and exploring new developments in chemistry. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. Helping them overcome challenges, improve performance, and develop a positive attitude toward learning is something I truly enjoy and remain dedicated to.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make concepts easy to understand through clear explanation and practical examples. I guide students through topics like chemical bonding, reactions, equations, acids, bases, and calculations step by step. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind reactions instead of memorizing them. Each lesson includes simple problem-solving exercises and real-life examples to make learning more meaningful. This helps students gain clarity and confidence.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple equations. Intermediate learners focus on balancing reactions, solving numerical problems, and understanding chemical processes. Advanced students work on deeper concepts, application-based questions, and exam preparation. I provide regular practice, corrections, and revision support. This ensures steady progress and strong understanding.
Chemistry also helps students develop analytical thinking and attention to detail. As they understand how substances interact, they become more confident in solving problems. Many students begin to enjoy chemistry once they see improvement in their performance. My goal is to make chemistry simple, interesting, and practical. I want students to feel confident in applying their knowledge, solving problems independently, and performing well in exams while also developing a deeper interest in the subject.
