About Liora
I have 11 years of experience teaching Chemistry to students preparing for examinations, university pathways, and deeper scientific understanding. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, which provided strong grounding in molecular behaviour, reaction analysis, and the problem-solving skills needed for advanced chemistry learning. This academic background allows me to explain both theoretical concepts and calculation-based topics with clarity and patience.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and focused on deep understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy helping learners break down challenging chemistry topics into manageable steps, using real-world examples and clear reasoning. I create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practising openly, and building confidence through steady improvement.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through scientific reading, interest in pharmaceutical developments, and exploring modern research innovations. Teaching chemistry is deeply fulfilling because students often transform from feeling uncertain into feeling capable and confident. Supporting that growth and curiosity remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Chemistry becomes much more approachable when students see it as the study of how matter behaves, changes, and connects to everyday life. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and organic reactions with calm explanation and structured reasoning. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind chemical principles, so problem solving becomes logical rather than intimidating. Each session encourages curiosity and builds confidence step by step.
Lessons are carefully tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners work on periodic trends, compound naming, basic reaction writing, and introductory mole concepts. Intermediate students strengthen concentration calculations, titration understanding, energy changes, and reaction pathway reasoning. Advanced learners refine kinetics, equilibrium systems, organic mechanisms, and exam-level analytical questions. Practice problems, feedback, and correction support are included in every lesson to ensure consistent progress.
Chemistry lessons help students develop precision, scientific reasoning, and long-term confidence in tackling complex questions. Over time, learners approach chemistry with calm focus rather than anxiety. My goal is to help students succeed academically while also appreciating chemistry as a powerful science that explains the material world.
